Aaron Bruce Hiebert

Meagan and I received a very special Christmas gift this year - our son, Aaron Bruce, was born at 2:02 on Christmas morning! We feel so thankful that Aaron is perfect in every way and there were no complications for him or Meagan. Children truly are blessings from God!
Of course I had to have my camera with me, and Meagan even took a few shots too.
I will be working a bit this week and back full time next week, so please be patient and I will get back to you as soon as possible.

Dena & Doug's wedding video

This summer I worked with Lori & Don fromMcNeill Media Creations for Dena & Doug's wedding. Lori & Don were amazing to work with and I would highly recommend them. So if you are looking for a videographer for your wedding you have to check them out. Here is a sample from Dena & Doug's wedding.

Sets on Fort

Today I hung a great looking art piece of Ashleigh, a bride I photographed this past summer. The wedding was out at Victoria Beach and we ended up with some amazing images from the day. The hair stylists at Sets on Fort did a beautiful job with Ashleigh and her bridesmaids' hair.

I want to thank Lorraine for allowing me to hang that great image in the Salon. I look forward to photographing you and the staff in the new year.

Family Sessions

It's always fun photographing families, especially when they are relatives. Last week I photographed the Parks and the Evans. The kids are always so much fun to work with and they all love the camera. Both sessions where done for their Christmas cards.

Christmas is almost here!

Meagan absolutely loves Christmas, so we decided to set up the Christmas tree over the weekend. I set up the tree and she decorated - it saves time and keeps us sane, as Meagan would have to redecorate the areas I decorated. We started a fun little tradition back on our honeymoon, we buy a Christmas ornament where ever we travel. I've posted a few of my favorites from when we traveled to Kauai, the Black Hills and Yellowstone National Park.

Pritchard Family Session

On Sunday I met Julie, Ron & Madison out at St.Vital Park. Julie owns Whyte Ridge Academy Florist, and I've had the privilege of getting to know her better this past year. When she asked me to photograph her family I was honored.

It was a beautiful November afternoon and it was one of those days I was so glad I had a family to photograph. Madison was so fun to work with and loved the snow. She found this amazing ice block that she had to take everywhere we went. We ended up with some great winter images and I can't wait to design their Christmas cards.

Thanks guys, I had a lot of fun.

Whyte Ridge Academy Florist

They have just released an amazing new website ( http://www.whyteridgeacademyflorist.com/ ) If you are looking for a florist you have to go visit them, they do a fantastic job. You may also notice there are a number of images from a wedding I photographed this summer.

When I saw this video I knew I had to post it. I feel so bad for the best man.

Kamila & Vern - e.Session

I loved having the opportunity to photograph Kamila & Vern on Saturday. I went to high school with Kamila and it was great to meet Vern for the first time. I always find it helpful when couples have an idea of where they would like to go, and on Saturday Kamila had a few "must-have" locations down in the Exchange. We crammed a ton of locations into our shoot and at one point I was even able to borrow a stepladder from a construction crew renovating a building, which allowed for some really neat shots.

Thanks guys and I can't wait for you to see the rest of your images.

Lisa & Craig - e.Session

On Saturday I had the chance to photograph in another new location, the Assiniboine Park Forest, so it was really cool to explore and find out what was around the next corner. It was a huge help to have Lisa as our guide, as I'm sure Craig and I would have easily gotten lost in there. They were so easy to work with and they were willing to try and go just about anywhere. Some of my favorite images came right at the end as we were right in the middle of all these birch trees.

Thanks guys for a great afternoon!
