Kailey's Gradation

On Wednesday my sister Kailey graduated from high school. The whole class ended up at the Basilica in St.Boniface and they had beautiful weather. We got some great shots with her friends and of course her boyfriend Chris. They both looked great!

Congratulations Kailey!

Dena & Doug's wedding

I had a great time shooting Dena & Doug's wedding on Saturday. We ended up a bit pressed for time due to the crazy weather. We battled sporadic downpours and hail - yes hail. So for all you brides who fear the rain, Dena wasn't phased one bit, and we got some amazing shots. We focused mainly on downtown and luckily they had booked the RRC Princess campus so we had a great indoor location. Dena & Doug were very photogenic and were willing to get a little wet and dirty; they really made my job a lot easier.

Thanks for a great day!

McNeill Media Creations

On Saturday I had the privilege of working with Don & Lori from McNeill Media Creations. They are amazing videographers, very easy-going and a lot of fun to work with. I managed to get this shot of Don hard at work with Dena and Doug. Even though we were a bit tight on time, we still had time to have fun with Dena and Doug on their wedding day.
If you are looking for a videographer you have to check out Don & Lori @ www.mcneillmediacreations.com

I hope to work with you guys again soon.

Jodi & Tyler's wedding

On Friday I felt really priveleged to be entrusted with photographing my sister's wedding. It was a wonderful day; we were very relieved that they booked the Millennium Centre as it poured during the family photos, but once we were done with shooting indoors it didn't rain again for us. Jodi didn't really have any spots in particular that she wanted to go to and Tyler was just content driving his uncle's bright red, vintage Chevrolet Chevelle, so it ended up being a pretty relaxed and flexible day. It was a great time and I am so happy for them as they start a new chapter in their lives together.

Tomorrow's the big day!

Tomorrow my sister is getting married. It's an exciting time for our family and especially for Jodi & Tyler as they finally tie the knot. We had the rehearsal dinner last night and everything looks great for tomorrow. We just hope the weather gets better! One thing that I had never seen before was a photograph on a cake. Tyler's mom had a cake done up with one of the photographs from their e.Session. It looked super cool.
I'm praying the rain stops so that we don't have to be out in the rain tomorrow.

Ashleigh & Peter - Wedding

I was really looking forward to Saturday for a couple of reasons. First of all, Ashleigh and Peter are friends of ours so it was fun to be out at Victoria Beach for their wedding. Secondly, I was itching to start photographing weddings again and their big day kicked off the wedding season for me.
Victoria Beach is such beautiful place, especially for a wedding. Ashleigh's parents have a cottage up there and she has spent every summer there since she was a little girl, so it was only natural to have her wedding on the beach. We couldn't have asked for a better day and they were so excited to finally be getting married.
Ashleigh and Peter had only two specific spots they wanted to be photographed at, the VB pier and the beach at sunset. They didn't want to see each other before the ceremony, so we photographed Ashleigh and the girls before hand. When I started photographing Ashleigh on the beach I figured I would get a bit sandy, but before long I was in the water well over my knees and more than just a little sandy. Luckily it was a warm sunny day and I was almost dry by the time of the ceremony. We were able to take a lot of images in a relatively short amount of time and I was very pleased with how they all turned out. I can't wait for them to get all their images on their DVD.

Thanks for a great day!

Mini e.Cards

I found these great mini cards that are printed in London, England. They are an excellent way to direct your guests to view your wedding images. We use some of your e.Session images for the front of the cards and the back lists where your guest can view "the best of" your wedding images shortly after your wedding. The best part is that we can use up to 9 different images to create a variety of cards and you can custom order specific quantities for your wedding.
