Whyte Ridge Academy Florist

They have just released an amazing new website ( http://www.whyteridgeacademyflorist.com/ ) If you are looking for a florist you have to go visit them, they do a fantastic job. You may also notice there are a number of images from a wedding I photographed this summer.

When I saw this video I knew I had to post it. I feel so bad for the best man.

Kamila & Vern - e.Session

I loved having the opportunity to photograph Kamila & Vern on Saturday. I went to high school with Kamila and it was great to meet Vern for the first time. I always find it helpful when couples have an idea of where they would like to go, and on Saturday Kamila had a few "must-have" locations down in the Exchange. We crammed a ton of locations into our shoot and at one point I was even able to borrow a stepladder from a construction crew renovating a building, which allowed for some really neat shots.

Thanks guys and I can't wait for you to see the rest of your images.

Lisa & Craig - e.Session

On Saturday I had the chance to photograph in another new location, the Assiniboine Park Forest, so it was really cool to explore and find out what was around the next corner. It was a huge help to have Lisa as our guide, as I'm sure Craig and I would have easily gotten lost in there. They were so easy to work with and they were willing to try and go just about anywhere. Some of my favorite images came right at the end as we were right in the middle of all these birch trees.

Thanks guys for a great afternoon!

Emilia & Scott - e.Session

On Tuesday I met up with Emilia, Scott & Daisy at Assiniboine Park. Daisy ended up only being with us for the first 20min and then she was relegated to the car. We had a great time and I was able to try a few new ideas. I always love shooting at The Pavilion; to my surprise the fountain was drained so I couldn't pass up the opportunity to photograph inside it. I also had Scott pick up Emilia and spin her, as they spun I ran around them. There are a few shots posted that look really cool.

Thanks for a great afternoon!

I have received a number of comments suggesting that I add a testimonial section to my website. I am in the process of getting a new website put together, but everything always takes longer than you think. So I thought I would start posting some of the comments that I receive from couples that I have photographed.

Hi Jeremy!

Eugene and I want to thank you SO much for taking some of the most amazing pictures we have ever seen! You captured exactly what our wedding day was about...love and laughter. You were fun to work with, and I would recommend you to anyone who needed a photographer. You really are a master of your craft, and we look forward to another "photo shoot" in the future. Family pics perhaps? Thanks again for everything!

Kate & Eugene

Mia & Terence - Family Session

After our first session was cancelled due to a cold and rainy day, I hoped we would get a better day later on with Mia and Terence. As it turned out it was still a little rainy but we made the most of it. I thought it would be cool to do a family session down in the Exchange, and I think it worked out great. The kids were so much fun and I managed to get some shots of them with just a regular smile as they couldn't stop making goofy faces for the camera. Afterwards we headed to the Forks to rewards the kids with some hot chocolate.

Thanks for a great afternoon,

I love this series - Terence thought it would be a great idea to do "cheers" with his daughter. You can see at first he looks a little nervous, then thinks he's in the clear, but soon realizes it maybe wasn't the best idea.

Krystin & Josh - e.Session

Krystin & Josh's e.Session came about very quickly as they were both in the city for only a couple of days. Krystin really liked the idea of having her wedding on the beach but unfortunately that won't be happening, so she decided that we should get some shots of them on a beach for their e.Session instead. We headed out to Birds Hill Park so that we would have a nice beach, as well as the beautiful fall colors all around us. They were so great to work with and I really look forward to photographing their wedding.
