Whyte Ridge Academy Florist

This summer I photographed a wedding that Julie and the girls at Whyte Ridge Academy Florist created the flower arrangements for. I couldn't help but notice their excellent work and since then I have had the opportunity to get to know Julie. This past Sunday I met the whole gang and photographed all the girls down in the Exchange. The images will be used on their new website, which sounds like it will be amazing. I had a wonderful time photographing and getting to know everyone and I'm excited for the girls to see all the images. If you’re looking for a florist I would highly recommend getting in touch with Julie.

Thanks

Jeremy

The Hilton

I had a wonderful opportunity to photograph the banquet hall and honeymoon suite at the Hilton. The staff were amazing to work with and I would highly recommend checking the hotel out. Both rooms were recently renovated and look great. If you are looking for more information on the Hilton you can check out their website, http://www1.hilton.com/en_US/hi/hotel/YWGWIHF-Hilton-Suites-Winnipeg-Airport-Manitoba/index.do

Thanks

Anticipation!

Both Meagan and I are so excited with the anticipation of our first child. Meagan wanted some maternity shots done at the 6 month stage so we set up the studio lights and started shooting. We now have some really wonderful shots of her and I'm looking forward to being able to photograph our baby. It's still a few months away but we can't wait!

Kate & Eugene's wedding

I had a blast photographing Kate & Eugene on Sunday. Kate had only one demand for the day, to head out to an old barn that I had photographed last summer. Kate saw my ad in Weddingbells and knew she had to be photographed there as well. Before we headed out to the barn we stopped at an old home on Wellington Cres. that was spectacular. My favorite room was a small sun room filled with chandeliers. The whole house was filled with art and different artifacts and I was thrilled to have the opportunity to photograph there. We then visited "the barn" and downtown by the Louise bridge, where we captured some of my favorite images. We ended off at the Niakwa Country Club for the ceremony and reception.
I felt so privileged to have captured their wedding day and I know they will love so many of their images.

Thanks

Sheri & Ken's wedding

On Saturday I photographed Sheri & Ken's wedding. We spent the morning out in St.Vital and we found some neat fields out there. Later on we went to the Legislative building and we ended up shooting down by the water. I had never shot down by the water in that location before and it was a lot of fun. I know we got a ton of shots that I can't wait for Sheri & Ken to see.

Thanks for allowing me to photograph your wedding!

Stylish & Eco friendly wedding favors

I came across this Canadian design firm that offers some really cool wedding favors. Parcel design is a Toronto based company that offers products that look great, functional and fun too. They will custom print your name and or colors on many different products from a lucite crate filled with candy, to leather luggage tags, to a plant in a biodegradable pot. You can check out their whole wedding collection @ http://parceldesign.ca/gift/gift_wedding.html.

Enjoy!

Fair Trade Coffee & Ten Thousand Villages

Just the other day I was mailing a DVD to a client, when I passed a Ten Thousand Villages store. A great idea popped into my head, I could mix my love of coffee, helping those in need and my business all together. I have purchased coffee from Ten Thousand Villages before and loved it. So now when you come to the studio and have a coffee you will get a great tasting coffee that in turn will benefit others.
For more information on Ten Thousand Villages, you can check out their website @ http://www.tenthousandvillages.com/

Vacation @ Clear Lake

Every year Meagan and I and our extended family head up to Clear Lake. It's always one of the highlights of the summer; it's just great to get away for a few days and enjoy a slower pace of life. We love being able to grab a coffee and walk around town, which usually leads to walking into all the shops and its hard not to find something to buy. The week would not be complete without buying our niece and nephew some ice cream.
It was a wonderful break but it feels good to be back home.

Shannon & Rob's wedding

On Saturday we braved the gusty winds, but enjoyed the beautiful sunshine. I started out the day photographing the guys and ended up getting some great shots of Rob on his motorcycle. Then we met up with the girls for a short time and headed off to the church. After the ceremony we got a ton of shots around a classic car they had borrowed from an uncle, and between the Legislative building and the exchange we ended up with a great variety of images. I think my favorite shot from the day has to be Rob and Shannon kissing behind the parking meters.

Thanks for a great time and allowing me to photograph your special day!
