Wedding Mapper

Last week I met with a couple who was having their ceremony out at the bride's family farm. The only trouble was there wasn't a real address to follow and therefore I could not enter anything into mapquest or google maps. They sent me a link to http://www.weddingmapper.com/ and instantly I had directions to the bride's
house. I think this is a great resource that helps your guests find exactly where the ceremony and reception will take place.

Floral Couture Charity Fashion Show

On March 5th, there will be a charity fashion show at Blush Ultraclub. It will consist of regular dresses provided by Cake Clothing and also dresses covered entirely with flowers, created by Whyte Ridge Academy Florist. It is going to be tied in with international women's week as we are raising money for the Osborne House. The Osborne House is a place that provides a safe place for women and children who are experiencing domestic violence, many of whom arrive with nothing but the clothes on their backs. We are hoping for a large turnout as we have a goal of $10,000 for the charity.

There are many other local vendors involved with this event. Hair FX will be supplying the hairstylists, all the models makeup will be provided by Fine Eyes Makeup Artists and the jewelry will be provided by Silpada Designs. Every moment of the evening will be captured by Jeremy from Jeremy Hiebert Photography.

This should be a great event, lots of fun and help people in need as well.

Tickets are just $30 and for more information you can give me a call or Julie @ 204-488-1402

Bath time

Aaron loves being in the water so we have started giving him a bath every night. It had a been a week or two since I last took some pictures of him, so last night I grabbed my camera and took a few shots while Meagan bathed him.
My two favorite shots are the wink and getting dried off. I think when he is getting dried off you can tell he is happy to be getting warmed up.

New website launched!

Today the brand new Jeremy Hiebert Photography website launched. I am so excited about it and can't thank Darrell enough for all his help in getting this new site up and running. There are still a few more little changes to come.
You can of course view it @ www.jeremyhiebert.ca, but here is quick look at the opening screen.

Let me know what you think of the new site.

New Weddingbells ad

In case you haven't picked up the latest Weddingbells, here is my new ad that appears in the magazine. It happens to be the same image that is hanging in Sets on Fort.

Osborne House fundraiser shoot

Yesterday afternoon I met Julie from Whyte Ridge Academy Florist at Blush Ultraclub. Julie has been arranging a fashion show fundraiser for the Osborne House women's shelter. I was thrilled when she called to see if I would be interested in helping out with the photography. I really feel this will be a wonderful event that is for a great cause.
Yesterday Julie brought her lovely models/employees, Courtney, Stephanie and Carmen. We had the whole club to ourselves and made the most of it by photographing in a number of different locations through out the venue. Courtney's dress was made entirely of flowers while the other girls' dresses were provided by Cake clothing.
I had a great time and can't wait to see how the posters for the event turn out.

A Session with Sets

On Monday afternoon I meet up with Lorraine and all the hair stylists from Sets on Fort. Lorraine was looking for new profile images for all her staff and I thought the Millennium Centre would be a great location as there would be so many different settings to choose from. Thank you to the whole staff - I had a wonderful time working with you and I am thrilled with the results. Here are a few of my favorite images of the day.
