Planned Perfectly open house

This after noon I met Kylee from Planned Perfectly at their brand new warehouse and showroom, located at 16-199 Omands Creek Blvd.
From Tuesday till Thursday she has invited several different wedding vendors to set up samples for all to see. Emma from Events by Emma and Andrea from Soiree both designed some amazing tables that would definitely impress all your wedding guests. The High Tea Bakery created some unbelieveable cakes that would suit any style that your looking for, and McDiarmid Flowers and Floral Elements produced some stunning centerpieces, even incorporating spinning centerpieces, centerpieces with lights and flowers and many more options.
Kylee also had Curtis Moore photogarphing the event as well. It's pretty neat to see the same event though another photographer's eye.

If you get a chance, stop by as you will get some excellent advice from some amazing local vendors who will be able to help make your wedding as beautiful as you imagined it.

Here are a few of my favorite images from Tuesday night.

Sonya & Gavin's Wedding

It was a wonderful privilege to photograph Sonya & Gavin's wedding. I went to high school with both of them and I knew they would be a lot of fun to photograph.
The Ceremony and Reception were held at St. Boniface Golf Club. Sonya also decided to get ready at the golf club; this was the perfect setting for her as both Sonya and Gavin have spent a good part of their lives in the locker room. They excel at several different sports, but their first love is football.
We started photographing at the Millennium Centre and then headed off to the Forks. Sonya loves animals and really wanted a hayride, unfortunately they didn't think it would fit into their day. When we pulled up to the Forks there were free hayrides - what are the chances! My favorite part of the day was when we headed down to the river with the wedding party running across the ice.
The reception was beautiful and they had a big surprise planned for the guests; after all the speeches were done there was an awesome fireworks display that everyone enjoyed.

I can't wait for Sonya and Gavin to see all their images!

Thanks

Fashion Shoot @ Sets on Fort

On Monday I headed over to Sets on Fort to meet for a fashion shoot with Kelly. Sets on Fort is being featured in a local magazine and Loraine (the owner) wanted some great looking fashion shots for the article. The hair and makeup looked amazing and you could easily tell why they are one of the best in the city. Kelly was wonderful to work with and we took a ton of different shots of her. I think we got some really amazing images.

Thanks everyone for a great afternoon.
