Kim & Danys' wedding

This will have to be short and sweet as I scramble to pack for Costa Rica. More details and images to follow soon!

On Saturday I photographed Kim & Danys' wedding. They were an amazing couple to work with and I had so much fun with them. The light seemed to be perfect at every location and even the wind cooperated as it gusted at the perfect moments. I am super excited for them to see their images, and I know it will be nearly impossible for them to pick their favorites.

Vicki & Drew - e.Session

Last week I did the first of three e.Sessions with Vicky & Drew. Recently I've started offering multiple sessions to capture different seasons throughout your engagement. This also adds more interest in the custom guest books.
Vicky grew up figure skating and Drew grew up playing hockey so they felt right at home on the ice. Also, the night Drew proposed they went skating. There were so many connections to skating that we had to go to the Forks for their first e.Session. We had beautiful weather and caught the last cool day before everything melted. After a good skate around the Forks we headed inside for a hot cup of coffee.

I can't wait for the next session this summer!

Floral Couture Charity Fashion Show

Last night was the Floral Couture Fashion Show in support of Osborne House. Julie did a fabulous job organizing the event and it would not have been possible without all the sponsors. Ace Burpee was an entertaining host, but the highlight of the night was definitely the six floral dresses created by Julie and the staff at Whyte Ridge Academy Florist.

It was a wonderful night and I was thrilled to be apart of it.

Planned Perfectly open house - Part 2

This past Wednesday night Kylee of Planned Perfectly, together with Belinda from High Tea Bakery, held a cake testing event. This event gave people the opportunity to sample many different flavours and styles of cakes. All of them were beautiful and delicious. There were many other local wedding vendors there which are fully listed in an earlier posting.

On Thursday night Kylee unveiled these glitter cover chocolates that you can eat without unwrapping. They looked amazing and I am sure we will see them at a bunch of weddings this summer.

I feel privileged to have been part of this wonderful event.
