Melissa & Bryan's wedding

On Friday I photographed Melissa & Bryan's beautiful wedding. We started out at Sets on Fort, where they did an amazing job with the hair and make up. After the salon we headed back to Melissa's parents' house to get the girls ready, and pick up their flowers which were supplied by Flowers R Us. Within no time we were off to the Millennium Centre with the whole wedding party. I love photographing couples at the Millennium Centre and it's a great location to book just in case of rain, and rain it did!

They had a beautiful ceremony at Douglas Mennonite Church. We took a few more pictures with just Melissa and Bryan and then we were off to The Gates. The decorations at the reception were elegant and timeless, what a great place to celebrate their day!

Melissa & Ryan - e.Session

One afternoon I meet up with Melissa and Ryan at Assiniboine Park. Ferrari and Justice also joined us for the first part of the e.Session!
We walked around the park with the dogs for a while and then passed them off to Melissa's dad so we could take some shots at the foot bridge. After we were done at the park we headed down to the overpass at Academy Road. We got several images with some great angles there.

I was over at Emma's the other day and I took a few shots of her new trailer. You may have already seen it around at various events this summer. It looks amazing! I feel very honoured that Emma decided to use a few of my images on the trailer.

Coldplay

On Monday night Meagan and I went to see Coldplay and they were amazing! It was by far the best show we have ever been to. It ended up that our seats were just one section away from where they played an acoustic set in the crowd. We had an awesome, close-up view of the band while they played a few songs. Just when you thought the night couldn't get any better, they gave everyone a free live CD on the way out the door... what a great night!

LIT - CD release party

Last Friday I was at the Park Theatre to watch Lost in Transmission. My brother-in law plays in the band and they were excited to release their brand new CD. It was a great evening and you can check out their new CD @ http://www.myspace.com/lostintransmissionmusic

New album covers available

Here are some images of the new 8x8 guest book. There are many different leathers and fabrics to choose from. You can still order the traditional black leather, but if you want to be adventurous there are endless color combinations available. This album shows a textured black spine with a hand-finished, aged red leather cover.

All albums are custom made and are a great way to showcase your images. You also have to option to order a larger version for your wedding album as well.

Hayley & Scott's wedding

On Saturday I headed up to Victoria Beach under a bright blue sky and plenty of sunshine. It was a perfect day for a wedding and Hayley & Scott were relieved they did not have to deal with snow on their wedding day!

I had so much fun being a part of their special day and the wedding party provided us with non-stop laughter. Hayley's cottage is right on the beach so we started out there. Afterwards we headed off to the playground. We ended up kicking some the kids off the play structure, but only for a few minutes and the parents didn't mind one bit. Of course we ended up on the the pier too, where we got some spectacular group shots. Everything really came together for the ceremony which was held on the beach and all the colors looked stunning. Julie from Whyte Ridge Academy Florist supplied the flowers and did an amazing job yet again. The gang from Atomic Hair Studio did a marvolous job with the girls' hair.

It was a beautiful wedding and it was wonderful to have been apart of Hayley and Scott's special day!
